    Collective Intelligence

Using AI Tools and our Shared Cultural Heritage

    Get Involved

Internet Archive Europe is a project by the Dutch non-profit research library Stichting Internet Archive. It is building collections and tools to bring them to life.

Working with libraries, museums, and archives, we share these tools and collections to further everyone’s services.

    Our Journey

Our role in Archiving and Preservation

Internet Archive Europe began preserving European digital materials since its founding in 2004 in the Netherlands. Then, working with dozens of European libraries and government agencies to build web collections, Internet Archive Europe prioritized collaboration with cultural heritage organizations to safeguard our collective history.

    Bringing research collections to life

More recently, the library is leveraging AI and other tools to bring collections to life and demonstrate new interactions. If you would like to join us on these adventures, please contact us.
