Samsung Malaysia has introduced the Galaxy A06 5G smartphone, an entry-level 5G smartphone that brings a large screen and unrivalled software support for just RM699.

The Galaxy A06 5G is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 6300 processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, it has a 6.7-inch HD+ screen with 90Hz refresh rate and a U-shaped camera notch. On the back, the phone features a 50MP wide + 2MP depth camera setup, juicing the phone is a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast wired charging.

In terms of durability, the Galaxy A06 5G is IP54 water and dust resistant, which should offer good basic protection for those who accidentally spills coffee over their phone all the time, and if you are hoping this would be an entry-level phone to stay updated as long as it can, Samsung is offering 4 years of Android OS and security patches, which no other entry-level phones can offer, so that you can be assured that your banking apps will continue to work as long as your phone can still be powered on.
