Shortly after launching five all-scenario products in Malaysia, HONOR has teased an upcoming affordable smartphone that can directly challenge the iPhone, which to be honest, it isn’t the first time that a brand has come out a similar message, but there’s more than just teasing a tagline.

As you already know, HONOR has embarked on a journey to become an AI driven company with the Alpha Plan announced in MWC 2025, this upcoming smartphone could come with AI features that the company has already debut on its flagship phones, including Magic Portal 2.0, AI Translate, AI Outpainting and AI Eraser, which can potentially make this one of the most AI feature rich smartphones within the segment.

The company also teased that the phone will have industry-leading features at a mid-range price point, and it is more than just making premium experiences accessible to all, as it wants to reshape the future of smartphone innovation.

Judging by the teaser image, we expect this upcoming smartphone to be the HONOR 400 Lite, a mid-range smartphone that was unveiled earlier this month and it has several attractive hardware features, including a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a Mediatek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor, IP65 water and dust resistance and large 5230mAh battery.

No dates have been announced, however we expect this to happen as soon as next week, so definitely stay tuned to HONOR Malaysia’s space for that.
