COMPUTEX 2025: New Acer Predator laptops get RTX 50 series Laptop GPU

Acer today unveiled its latest lineup of high-performance 14-inch Predator gaming laptops, targeting gamers, content creators, and mobile professionals.

These new additions include the Predator Triton 14 AI and Predator Helios Neo 14 AI, both equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs powered by NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. Also joining the refreshed lineup is the Predator Orion 3000 desktop, now featuring next-gen Intel and NVIDIA components.

The Predator Triton 14 AI (PT14-52T) is designed with creative professionals in mind, combining powerful internals with a lightweight aluminum chassis weighing just 1.6 kg. It boasts up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 288V, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU with DLSS 4, and up to 32 GB LPDDR5X memory. The 14.5-inch WQXGA+ OLED touchscreen display is Calman Verified, supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a rapid 1 ms response time—ideal for photo editing, 3D rendering, and video work. Additional features include stylus pen support, a haptic Corning Gorilla Glass touchpad, and Copilot+ experiences like Live Captions and AI image generation.

Advanced thermal technology ensures optimal cooling under load. The Predator Triton 14 AI pioneers the use of graphene thermal interface material, improving heat transfer efficiency by 14.5%. This works alongside dual AeroBlade 3D metal fans, vapor chambers, and Acer’s Vortex Flow system to keep the device cool during intense use. It also includes a customizable RGB per-key keyboard, Killer Wi-Fi 7, and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, making it a powerhouse in a sleek chassis for creators and gamers alike.

Meanwhile, the Predator Helios Neo 14 AI (PHN14-71) brings 14.5-inch portability to Acer’s Helios lineup. It features up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 285H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, and 32 GB LPDDR5X memory. It comes with a vibrant OLED WQXGA+ display supporting 100% DCI-P3, 0.2 ms response time, and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus for seamless graphics switching. Its thermal design includes AeroBlade fans, liquid metal grease, and a Vector heat pipe, ensuring consistent performance.

For users wanting a desktop alternative, Acer has also refreshed its Predator Orion 3000 (PO3-665). This compact 28-liter gaming PC is now powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 265F and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU. It supports up to 32 GB DDR5 RAM, 2 TB PCIe SSD, and 2 TB HDD. The Orion 3000’s chassis features a tempered glass side panel, mesh airflow design, and RGB system fans. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C, multiple USB-A ports, and a LAN port for wired gaming.

The Predator Triton 14 AI will be available in EMEA in July starting at EUR 2,999. The Predator Helios Neo 14 AI will also launch in EMEA in July, starting at EUR 1,699. The Predator Orion 3000 will be available in EMEA from July, starting at EUR 1,099, and in Australia from Q3, starting at AUD 4,499. These new Predator products reinforce Acer’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge performance and innovation for the next generation of creators and gamers.
