Nothing Phone 3 to be powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor
As the launch date of the Nothing Phone 3 draws near, CEO Carl Pei has revealed the most important bit of the company’s new flagship and it is revealed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor.
This is the first time that the company releases a flagship that uses a current year chipset, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 will deliver significant performance improvements over the Nothing Phone 2’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, while it allows Nothing to deliver up to 5 years of OS updates and 7 years of security updates, making it one the longer supported phones in the market.
Also, the Nothing Phone 3 will do away with the iconic Glyph interface that has headlined its phones, but the company will introduce a new Glyph Matrix interface on the back that will be able to show dot pixel animations just like how we have seen ASUS done it on its ROG Phone.
The Nothing Phone 3 is set to launch on July 1, so make sure you tuned in to Nothing’s official channels for more upcoming news.
