The Amazfit Balance 2 XT smartwatch has been spotted on a US retailer’s website. This rumored model will join the recently launched standard version of the Balance 2 wearable. The product listing suggests that this could be a smaller watch, and its price may also have been leaked.
The Amazfit Balance 2 XT smartwatch has been listed at a US retailer. While Zepp Health, the company behind the Amazfit brand, has yet to officially announce this device, it has been rumored since earlier this year. Plus, it has appeared in a couple of leaked documents.
Now, a product listing for the Balance 2 XT smartwatch has appeared at Best Buy in the US. However, it is unclear how much of the information provided is accurate. The page suggests that the wearable will have a smaller 38 mm watch face; the standard Balance 2 watch has a 47 mm wide watch face. It is worth noting that Best Buy has incorrectly listed the original Balance smartwatch as being 38 mm wide in the past, so this may not be correct.
The picture of the Balance 2 XT’s display shows that it will offer the new BioCharge Energy Monitoring feature, which arrived with the Amazfit Helio Strap. Similar to Garmin’s Body Battery energy score, BioCharge uses data from your workouts, movements, stress and rest, helping you to understand your energy levels at any point in the day.
The listing suggests that the XT version could have almost identical features to the regular model, though it does not mention a temperature sensor. It is also listed with an aluminum and fiber-reinforced polymer casing, matching the standard version, despite rumors that the Balance 2 XT would be made with titanium.
The Best Buy page for the Amazfit Balance 2 XT smartwatch also states that it will retail in the US for $199.99, which would make it $100 cheaper than the standard Balance 2 smartwatch ($299.99 at Amazon). Again, it is unclear whether this is the final price or just a placeholder. We will have to wait for Amazfit to officially unveil the Balance 2 XT smartwatch to learn its complete and accurate specifications. At the time of writing, the release date of this wearable is unknown.
