    New batch of free games spotted on Steam shortly after Summer Sale 2025 concluded – NotebookCheck.net News

    Steam’s Summer Sale 2025 has wrapped up, and while the special game deals are gone, the platform is still getting freebies. The new batch of Steam free games was spotted by X user @SteamGamesPC, and the list has many well-rated titles.

    Steam has officially concluded the Summer Sale 2025 event on July 10. This limited-time event offered many great discounts. Now, although the special game deals are gone until the next sale event arrives, the platform is still seeing new freebies. Here are some of the newly spotted free games with decent player reviews:

    • Abyssborne – launched on June 18, this free game is said to be a dark fantasy roguelite. It currently has a “Very Positive” player rating.
    • Vegetables of Mass Destruction – a hack ‘n’ slash roguelite where players fight against evil robots as a feisty raccoon. This freebie became available on Steam on June 18, and it currently sports a “Positive” player rating.
    • Midnight Riff – described as a rhythm roguelike with a dynamic battle system. It launched on Steam on June 21, and the free game currently has a “Positive” player rating.
    • The RPG: My First Dungeon Smells – an action-adventure free game with RPG elements. This freebie launched on June 25 and currently has the “Very Positive” rating with over 100 reviews.
    • Naica Online – said to be a cross-platform MMO with a heavy emphasis on exploration. It launched as a free game on Steam on June 24, and it currently sports the “Mostly Positive” rating that’s based on 48 player reviews.
    • Batta? Batta! – a casual adventure game with 2D and 3D perspective-switching battles. It became available on Steam on June 26, and it currently sports a “Positive” player rating.
    • The Chess – said to offer a relaxing yet minimalistic classic chess experience with multiple gameplay options. This free game launched on Steam on June 26 and currently has a “Positive” player rating.
    • Condo – released on June 25, this free game is said to have a short and moody story. This adventure title currently has a “Very Positive” rating that’s based on 69 reviews.
    • Zeppelin Rush – a tower defense title with fast-paced gameplay. This free game launched on Steam on June 28 and currently sports a “Positive” player rating.
    • Hardly Workin‘ – described as a chaotic office sim with fun gameplay. It became available on Steam on June 24, and it sports a “Positive” player rating.
    • Elysian Siege – an action-fantasy platformer that’s said to offer a short yet satisfying traversal experience. The free game launched on Steam on June 27, and it currently features a “Positive” player rating.
    • Masquerade – described as an adventure game that’s inspired by the original Romeo and Juliet story. It became available on Steam as a freebie on July 4 and currently sports a “Positive” player rating.
