HONOR Malaysia has officially launched the Magic V5 foldable, the strongest contender to the Galaxy Z Fold7 is now even thinner than before at 4.1mm when unfolded, while just a few shy grams heavier than its competition, but offers even more value for the same price of RM6999 that’s similar to last year’s Magic V3.

Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the HONOR Magic V5 features 6.43-inch external and 7.95-inch internal displays refreshing at 120Hz, it comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage, durability has been greatly enhanced with an Aerospace Grade Fiber backcover and the HONOR Super Steel Hinge that can withstand 35KG of bend force, it also now gains IP58 and IP59 dust and water resistance, which is a first for a foldable phone.

The Magic V5 comes with an upgraded camera system, though the main shooter is the same 50MP HONOR Super Sensing camera from last year, the periscope and ultrawide lens has been upgraded to a 64MP and 50MP sensor respectively, while the front facing cameras of the internal and external screens also receive a resolution bump up to 20MP.

Despite being a super slim foldable, HONOR has managed to pack an even larger 5820mAh Silicon Carbon battery into the Magic V5 and supports 66W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging, making if one of the largest battery capacities ever introduced on a foldable phone.

The HONOR Magic V5 can now be preordered till 25th July 2025, all preorder customers will receive a Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 9 speaker worth RM1299 and a comprehensive protection coverage package, including a 1-year screen crack warranty and 2-year quality assurance, ensuring a peace of mind during the ownership.

Customers can also bundle the HONOR Magic Pen for RM249 instead of the usual RM499 price, which can be used to scribble notes on the HONOR Magic V5’s internal screen.

On top of that, HONOR Malaysia has also introduced the HONOR Pad 10 5G variant that retails for RM1799, customers will also receive a free keyboard cover, HONOR Choice Headphones Pro and HONOR Choice Pencil worth RM1097.

The HONOR Magic V3 can also be complemented with the HONOR Choice Earbuds Clip, which offers a distraction free listening experience and 36-hour battery life, it retails for RM499.
