The Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) has appeared on the brand’s global website. This is the first official announcement of this product, which is already available at AliExpress. It is an upgraded version of the 2021 device, with the Google TV OS, support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, and dual-band Wi-Fi 6.

Xiaomi has officially revealed the TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen). This is an upgraded version of the original TV Stick 4K, which launched in 2021. The latest variant appeared at the end of June 2025 on AliExpress, with early customers confirming the authenticity of the product.

Now, Xiaomi has listed the TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) on its global website, indicating that it will arrive in various markets in the near future. The product page also confirms the specifications of this product. Like its predecessor, it supports 4K decoding, compatible with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Dolby Atmos and DTS-X.. The main difference is that the new version uses the Google TV operating system instead of Android TV 11. It comes with apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube and Xiaomi TV+ pre-installed, and supports Google Cast wireless screensharing.

There is also support for Google Assistant voice commands, with a dedicated button on the accompanying remote. The hardware also differs, with the Quad-core Cortex-A35 CPU replaced with a Quad-core Cortex-A55, and accompanied by an ARM G310 V2 GPU rather than the Mali G31 MP2 GPU. Memory remains at 2GB+8GB, with Bluetooth 5.2 and dual-band Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and HDMI 2.1 and Micro USB ports. It is slightly larger than the original model, measuring 107.4 x 30 x 14 mm (~4.2 x 1.2 x 0.6 inches) and weighing 44 g (~0.1 lbs).

It is unclear when the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) will be officially released and at what price. As a reminder, this product is currently available for €40.39 at AliExpress, where it is listed as discounted from €54.61. For content, the original Xiaomi Smart TV Stick 4K has a €49.99 RRP in European countries, though it is currently available for €44.99 at Mi Store Germany.
