Huawei is strengthening its tablet portfolio with the launch of the MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition 2025, as the name suggests, it features a 11.5-inch paper-like matte display like its predecessor and boasts a 2.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, while having an improved brightness of 600 nits that offers brighter and clearer visuals for a matte display.

The tablet uses the company’s very own Kirin T82B chip that’s paired to 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. The tablet measures 6.1mm thin and weighs 515g, while it sports a premium all-metal unibody that’s available in colors of Violet and Space Gray.

Huawei has continued to push the capabilities of its tablet with productivity features such as PC-Level WPS Office that offers a desktop class office application that can create documents and presentations, while floating multi-window offers effortless multitasking on the tablet’s expansive screen.

The tablet comes bundled with a Smart Bluetooth Keyboard and Huawei M-Pencil 3rd Gen, which is pretty enticing as you don’t need to purchase these accessories separately.

Battery wise, the tablet has common but large 10,100mAh battery that offers over 14 hours of video playback, it supports 40W Huawei SuperCharge while being cable of reverse charging other devices.

As usual, the tablet ships with HarmonyOS 4.3 that’s based on Android 12, users will be able to run most Google apps with the MicroG framework though you will need to manually install them from Huawei AppGallery or from other app stores.

Customers can preorder the Huawei MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition 2025 starting today till 26 August for the price of RM1599 at Huawei Experience Stores and online channels, customers will receive exclusive free gifts worth up to RM698 during the preorder period.
