We have covered a plethora of lucrative mini PC deals, mostly belonging to the mid-range and upper-range categories. However, there is no shortage of folks on the hunt for a truly affordable system that can manage their daily tasks decently well. For such people, the AMD-powered Bosgame E2 mini PC might be the right choice, currently available with a sizeable discount on Amazon that brings its price down to just $169.

At its heart, the Bosgame E2 budget mini PC is powered by the AMD Ryzen 5 3550H APU that launched over six years ago, in January of 2019. Even in 2025, the 4-core Zen+ APU performs pretty well, pulling well ahead of competing Intel Twin Lake-powered products in multi-core performance. For instance, Cinebench indicates that the Ryzen 5 is as much as 35% faster in multi-core performance than the Intel N150, which is a pretty decent margin.

In GPU performance, the story is much the same. The 8-core Radeon RX Vega 8 iGPU is no slouch, and is almost twice as fast as the Intel UHD Graphics (24 EUs) found in the Intel N150 chip. Of course, high-end AAA gaming is obviously not on the cards, but some lightweight low-end gaming is not out of the question. Compared to the Intel N150-powered offerings in this price range, the E2 mini PC promises a substantial performance uplift, which makes using the system for daily tasks a far better experience.
