Ayaneo’s Konkr Pocket Fit Elite might be the first Snapdragon 8 Elite handheld and it starts at under $400 – NotebookCheck.net News
Ayaneo’s Konkr sub-brand will not only launch the Pocket Fit handheld but a second model called the Pocket Fit Elite that is pricier and likely more powerful. While most of its specs and price have been revealed, the manufacturer has kept its processor a secret which is speculated to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
In July, Ayaneo announced the launch of Konkr, its sub-brand for more price-friendly handhelds. It also revealed that the Konkr Pocket Fit will be the first handheld from the new brand. However, in the latest livestream from the manufacturer, it has been revealed there’ll be a second handheld called the Konkr Pocket Fit Elite, and it might be the first handheld powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
The Konkr Pocket Fit Elite will have an identical design to the Konkr Pocket Fit. As a matter of fact, save for its processor which hasn’t been revealed, the rest of its specifications are the same as that of the Konkr Pocket Fit. There are speculations that its name, while it can be considered a stretch, hints at its processor being the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the same chipset that has powered several 2025 Android flagship smartphones including the OnePlus 13 (available on Amazon for $849.99) .
Ayaneo has never shied away from confirming the processor of the Konkr Pocket Fit which is the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 processor, the same one inside the Ayaneo Pocket S2 and the OneXSugar. There’s even a Snapdragon logo on the promotional materials for the handheld. Considering the only detail of the Konkr Pocket Fit Elite that has not yet been revealed is the processor, then there’s a high chance it is a big deal.
While we await the identity of the processor, Ayaneo has revealed that the Konkr Pocket Fit Elite will be pretty affordable with a starting price tag of less than $399. For that amount, buyers will get an Android handheld with a 6-inch 1080p display, a 144Hz refresh rate, Hall Effect joysticks, Hall Effect triggers, dual-mode trigger lock, and an 8,000mAh battery capacity.
