Acer Expands Predator Lineup with AI Laptop, Gaming Desktops, Ultra-Fast Monitor and Keyboard

Acer has unveiled a powerful new range of Predator devices including the Predator Helios 18P AI laptop, Predator Orion 7000 and Orion 5000 desktops, the Predator Aethon 550 TKL gaming keyboard, and the Predator X27U F8 monitor, all engineered to push the limits of productivity, gaming, and content creation.

Leading the lineup is the Predator Helios 18P AI, a hybrid laptop designed for professionals who need high-performance computing on the go. Unlike traditional gaming laptops, it supports desktop-level AI computing, inferencing, and productivity tasks, making it ideal for AI developers, creators, and gamers alike. It is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 285HX with Intel vPro, paired with up to 192 GB of EEC memory that automatically detects and corrects data corruption, reducing the risk of system crashes.

Graphics are driven by up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with DLSS 4, complemented by up to 6 TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD storage, Thunderbolt 5 Type-C, Killer Ethernet E5000B and Wi-Fi 7. The Helios 18P AI also comes with an 18-inch 16:10 display, including a Mini LED 4K WQUXGA panel option with HDR mode, 1000 nits brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, perfect for content creation. Acer’s proprietary thermal design ensures reliable cooling with dual 6th Gen AeroBlade metal fans, liquid metal thermal grease, and vector heat pipes.

The Predator Orion 7000 desktop is built for extreme gamers and creators, featuring up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 285K with integrated NPU for AI workloads and paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics. It also provides access to NVIDIA NIM Microservices for AI assistants and workflows. Cooling is handled by the Predator CycloneX 360 system with liquid cooling, delivering 15% better efficiency and lowering motherboard temperatures by 9°C. The Orion 7000 supports up to 128 GB DDR5 RAM, up to 6 TB SSD storage and 4 TB hard drive capacity, with Killer Ethernet E3100G, Wi-Fi 7, and Thunderbolt 4 ensuring top-tier connectivity.

For serious gamers, the Predator Orion 5000 offers up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 265F and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics, with support for up to 128 GB DDR5 RAM. Storage options include up to 2 TB SSD and up to 4 TB hard drive capacity, while cooling is maintained by a Predator CycloneX 360 fan. Both Orion desktops feature tempered glass EMI-compliant chassis with customizable ARGB lighting, and use 65% post-consumer recycled plastic. They also come equipped with Acer Intelligence Space, a suite of AI tools to enhance creativity and productivity.

The Predator X27U F8 monitor is tailored for competitive gamers, offering a 26.5-inch OLED panel at WQHD resolution with a groundbreaking 720 Hz refresh rate. Dynamic Frequency Resolution allows switching between WQHD at 540 Hz and 720p at 720 Hz for optimized performance. The monitor covers 99% DCI-P3, carries VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certification, and supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for tear-free, smooth visuals.

Completing the ecosystem is the Predator Aethon 550 TKL keyboard, designed for accuracy and personalization. It supports tri-mode connectivity—wired, Bluetooth, and 2.4 GHz wireless—with up to 150 hours of battery life. Hot-swappable switches in red or blue, interchangeable WASD keycaps, and per-key RGB lighting compatible with Windows Dynamic Lighting allow gamers to fully customize their experience in an 80% tenkeyless layout.

Pricing for the Predator Helios 18P AI (PH18P-73) starts at USD 3,999 in North America and EUR 4,999 in EMEA, with availability beginning this year. The Predator Orion 7000 will launch in EMEA and Australia in Q1 2026 starting at EUR 3,999 and AUD 8,199 respectively, while the Orion 5000 will arrive in the same regions in Q1 2026 starting at EUR 2,999 and AUD 4,999. The Predator X27U F8 monitor will be available in North America in Q1 2026 starting at USD 1,299.99, in EMEA in Q2 2026 at EUR 1,199, and in China in Q1 2026 at RMB 9,999. The Predator Aethon 550 TKL will be available in September in North America at USD 129 and in EMEA at EUR 129.
