The Logitech G Cloud is now available to buy in black in the US. The price of the handheld remains unchanged, but it comes with a free gift.

When the Logitech G Cloud was announced in 2022, it was available to buy in white, only. However, last year, Logitech released a black version of the handheld in China. That color seems to have been a hit as Logitech has now made it available in another region.

The black Logitech G Cloud was first revealed to be coming by Evan Blass, and now, the handheld is available to buy in the new color way. Logitech says the new color is only available in the US and is exclusive to its website. It also said there are limited quantities available.

The price remains unchanged at $299.99, which some consider to be expensive especially with rivals such as the Abxylute One Pro which has similar specs and costs $259.99 on Amazon. However, you do get a free G Cloud carrying case worth $29.99 when you purchase the handheld. This free gift is also available when you purchase the white version from Logitech.

The Logitech G Cloud is a cloud gaming handheld with a 7-inch 1080p 60Hz touch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The display is an LCD panel and it has a peak brightness of 450 nits. There is a Snapdragon 720G processor under the hood along with 64GB of expandable storage.

The G Cloud also has stereo speakers, dual microphones with echo canceling and noise suppression, an audio jack, Bluetooth 5.1 with support for Qualcomm aptX adaptive, Wi-Fi 5, and support for USB-C audio. It packs a 23.1Wh battery that provides up to 12 hours of use. The device ships with Android 11, but it received a major software update recently that greatly improved the user experience.

While it is designed for cloud gaming (Xbox Game Pass, Nvidia GeForce Now, Amazon Luna), the Logitech G Cloud also supports Remote Play on PC, Xbox, and PS5. And because it is an Android device, users can install Android games to play locally or use it to emulate retro games. The handheld also has video out over USB-C, so you can mirror the display on a TV or monitor using a USB-C to HDMI cable, connect a Bluetooth controller, and play on a big screen.
