Apple today unveiled the AirPods Pro 3, the next-generation of its world-renowned in-ear headphones, delivering a massive leap forward in sound quality, comfort, and smart functionality. With twice the noise cancellation of the previous model, improved fit and durability, and brand-new health and translation features, AirPods Pro 3 redefine what wireless earbuds can do.

AirPods Pro 3 feature a new multiport acoustic architecture that optimizes airflow for richer, clearer sound. Adaptive EQ improves bass response, widens the soundstage, and enhances vocal clarity across music, shows, and calls. The ultra-low noise microphones and foam-infused ear tips provide up to 2x more noise cancellation than AirPods Pro 2 and 4x more than the original AirPods Pro, making them the most effective in-ear ANC headphones available today. Battery life has also been improved, delivering up to 8 hours of playback with ANC enabled.

Leveraging over 10,000 ear scans and extensive research, Apple redesigned the AirPods Pro 3 for greater stability during activities like running, yoga, or HIIT workouts. The earbuds are now smaller, with ear tips available in five sizes, including a new XXS option. They are also rated IP57 for sweat and water resistance, ensuring durability for both exercise and everyday use.

For the first time, AirPods Pro 3 integrate a heart rate sensor that uses advanced infrared light technology to measure blood flow at 256 times per second. Paired with iPhone sensors and Apple Intelligence, the earbuds can track over 50 workout types in the Fitness app, monitor calories burned, and provide personalized motivational insights with the new Workout Buddy experience. Apple Fitness+ users can view real-time metrics such as heart rate and calorie burn directly onscreen during workouts.

AirPods Pro 3 debut Live Translation, a breakthrough feature powered by computational audio and Apple Intelligence. Available initially in English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish — with more languages coming soon — it allows users to engage in natural, face-to-face conversations even across language barriers. Translations can be heard directly in the earbuds or displayed as live text on an iPhone screen, making it a powerful tool for travel, business, and everyday communication.

Apple continues to expand its hearing health tools with AirPods Pro 3. A refined Hearing Test helps users monitor their hearing at home, while Conversation Boost automatically amplifies voices in noisy environments. Transparency mode is now more natural and provides up to 10 hours of listening on a single charge, a 67% improvement over the previous generation.

AirPods Pro 3 starts at RM999 in Malaysia, availability in Malaysia has yet to be announced by Apple.
