If you’re priced out of the latest iPhone 17 series, then the now-slightly-older iPhone 16 is a good choice. It’s still an amazing phone – and there are some fantastic deals to check out right now. For example, over at Total Wireless, the carrier is currently offering the iPhone 16 for just $479 (was $829) when you bundle it up with a new line on a Total 5G Unlimited plan or higher.

Unlike some iPhone deals, this particular promotion doesn’t require any trade-in rebates or lengthy service plans to be eligible. You simply need to get an iPhone 16 alongside a three-month plan, and you’re good.

In terms of plans, the Total 5G Unlimited option is a great place to start if you’re on the hunt for a decent unlimited plan but don’t want to spend big. Unlike some stripped-back prepaid plans, this one comes with unlimited premium 5G data that doesn’t get slowed down, 15GB of mobile hotspot allowance, and six months of Disney+ Premium on the house. That’s at just $50/mo for a single line, which is extremely competitive.

If you’re looking for a fully-featured unlimited plan, then also consider this deal with the highest-end Total 5G+ Unlimited plan at Total Wireless. This plan comes with not only unlimited 5G data speeds, but also unlimited mobile hotspot allowance and a free Disney+ Premium account without any limitations. It’s $60/mo for a single line, so a little more expensive, but it’s probably worth it if you’re a power user and looking to stay with Total Wireless for a while.
