We are down to the final four in baseball’s postseason. In the American League Championship Series, the Seattle Mariners won game 1 on Sunday to take a 1-0 series lead against the Toronto Blue Jays. The Mariners are the only team that has never played in the World Series and now find themselves just three games away from winning the American League pennant and finally reaching the Fall Classic.

In the National League Championship Series, the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers face the NL’s top seed in the Milwaukee Brewers. That series opens tonight in Milwaukee.

The ALCS will air on Fox and FS1 and stream on Fox’s new direct-to-consumer streaming service, Fox One. The NLCS will air on TBS and stream on HBO Max. Looking ahead, the 2025 World Series will be shown on Fox. Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch or stream the rest of the baseball playoffs without cable.

How to watch the ALCS and NLCS without cable

If you don’t have a cable or satellite TV subscription, you can watch the league championship series and the World Series with a live TV streaming service. Four of the five major live TV streaming services offer Fox, FS1 and TBS. Fubo is a poor fit for postseason baseball because it lacks TBS for the NLCS. Not every service carries every local network in every area, so be sure to check each service using the links below to make sure it carries Fox where you live for the World Series.

    Sling/CNET

    DirecTV Stream/CNET

    Sarah Tew/CNET

YouTube TV costs $83 a month and includes Fox, FS1 and TBS. Plug in your ZIP code on YouTube TV’s welcome page to see which local networks are available in your area. Read our YouTube TV review.

Hulu Plus Live TV costs $83 a month and includes Fox, FS1 and TBS. On its live news page, you can enter your ZIP code under the “Can I watch local news in my area?” question at the bottom of the page to see which local channels you get. Read our Hulu Plus Live TV review.

DTC streaming options for MLB postseason

If you don’t want to pay for a live TV streaming service, you can use Fox One to watch the ALCS and World Series and HBO Max to watch the NLCS.

    Fox

Fox’s new direct-to-consumer streaming service costs $20 a month or $200 a year and will show the ALCS between the Mariners and Blue Jays as well as the World Series. You’ll also get access to Fox’s complete TV portfolio, including sports-related channels such as Fox Sports, B1G, FS1, FS2 and local Fox stations.

    Zooey Liao/ CNET

You need HBO Max’s standard $17-a-month plan to watch live sports, including the NLCS between the Dodgers and Brewers.
