Redmi K90 Pro Max Officially Launched in China with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 7,560mAh Battery, and Bose-Tuned Audio
Redmi has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Redmi K90 Pro Max, in China, marking a new milestone for the brand’s premium K-series lineup. Positioned as the top-tier model in the series, the K90 Pro Max brings flagship-grade performance, a premium design, and an impressive camera system — all at an aggressive starting price that undercuts most rivals in its class.
The Redmi K90 Pro Max made its debut on October 23, 2025, in China alongside the standard K90 model. The flagship device is priced from CNY 3,999 (~RM2371) for the 12GB + 256GB configuration, while higher memory variants go up to CNY 5,299 (~RM3142) depending on the selected storage option.
In terms of design, the K90 Pro Max introduces a denim-textured nano-leather back panel, adding both durability and a distinctive look. Other available finishes include Flowing Gold White, both of which accentuate the sleek yet robust design language. The rear camera module, prominently featuring Bose branding, underscores its high-end aesthetic appeal.
At the heart of the K90 Pro Max is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with Redmi’s in-house D2 display coprocessor for optimized performance and visuals. The phone sports a 6.9-inch OLED display with ultra-low 1-nit minimum brightness, delivering crisp, vibrant colors and deep contrast levels suited for both gaming and content creation.
On the camera front, the K90 Pro Max packs a 1/1.31-inch 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera offering 5x optical and 10x lossless zoom. The combination enables professional-level photography, with improved low-light and long-distance shooting. The device also features advanced stabilization and enhanced AI image processing for sharp, true-to-life results.
One of the most notable upgrades comes in battery performance. The Redmi K90 Pro Max houses a massive 7,560mAh battery, one of the largest among modern flagships, complemented by 100W wired, 50W wireless, and 22.5W reverse wired charging. This ensures extended screen time with rapid recharging capability, ideal for heavy users and gamers alike.
Audio performance has been elevated through Redmi’s collaboration with Bose, giving the K90 Pro Max “Sound by Bose” certification. It comes with dual super-linear speakers and an independent woofer, producing immersive stereo sound with enhanced bass clarity — a rare treat even in premium smartphones.
Currently, the Redmi K90 Pro Max is available exclusively in China, with no official word yet on international release plans. However, given Redmi’s track record, it’s expected that global markets may see a rebranded version under the POCO name later this year.
