Dreame continues to expand its product lineup and now offers two soundbars. The Pano S1 and Pano S2, differ quite a bit in terms of features as well as pricing.

The manufacturer Dreame is probably best-known for its cleaning products, some of which we have already reviewed. However, Dreame has also introduced televisions and is now moving further into the home entertainment segment with two soundbars. To be more precise, the Pano S1 and Pano S2 are not just soundbars but full-fledged audio systems. The Pano S1 sports a subwoofer, while the Pano S2 comes with a dedicated subwoofer and additional satellite speakers.

Pano S1 sports dedicated subwoofer and surround sound

The Dreame Pano S1 is a 3.1.2-channel system, and the soundbar itself contains several drivers. It delivers a maximum output of 500 watts, while the external subwoofer features a 6.5-inch driver. Dolby Atmos surround sound is created via two upfiring speakers that reflect sound off the ceiling. The soundbar itself measures 34 x 4 x 2.4 inches and supports audio input via HDMI (eARC), AUX, optical input, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB.

Pano S2 comes with satellite speakers

The higher-end and more expensive model is the Dreame Pano S2. This audio system features a total of 12 drivers, consisting of the main soundbar, a subwoofer and two satellite speakers. It’s supposed to provide an immersive audio experience and a peak output of 630 watts. The official price tag is around $580, while the Pano S1 is priced at $310. There are no details on a potential global launch, and these prices only apply to the Chinese market.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.

My fascination for technology goes back a long way to the Pentium II era. Modding, overclocking and treasuring computer hardware has since become an integral part of my life. As a student, I further developed a keen interest in mobile technologies that can make the stressful college life so much easier. After I fell in love with the creation of digital content while working in a marketing position, I now scour the web to bring you the most exciting topics in the world of tech. Outside the office, I’m particularly passionate about motorsports and mountain biking.
