ZTE nubia V80 Design launches in Malaysia for RM569

ZTE nubia Malaysia has officially launched the all-new nubia V80 Design, a smartphone that blends flagship-level aesthetics with smart AI innovation. Announced today in Kuala Lumpur, the V80 Design is built for users who seek beauty, intelligence, and performance in one refined package.

The nubia V80 Design features a 6.75-inch high-resolution display with 1940×900 resolution and a pixel density of 317 PPI, ensuring ultra-sharp visuals where individual pixels are invisible to the eye. Its 1000-nit peak brightness keeps content vivid even under strong sunlight, while a 120Hz refresh rate delivers ultra-smooth scrolling and animation. The screen is tuned for comfort with balanced colour calibration and reduced eye strain, making it ideal for long usage periods.

Designed with inspiration from flagship craftsmanship, the phone’s sleek unibody build measures only 7.7mm thick and weighs 191g, making it 6.1% slimmer and 7.3% lighter than its predecessor. Available in Midnight Black and Pale Amber, it features smooth curves, polished edges, and a minimalist silhouette that emphasizes elegance and comfort.

At the heart of the V80 Design lies an array of intelligent AI features built to make everyday use seamless and secure. The One-Tap AI Button offers instant access to custom features like the camera, voice recorder, or flashlight. AI Memory acts as a private, on-device archive that sorts and recalls saved messages, screenshots, and notes without using cloud storage. AI Scam Alert detects and warns users of potential fraud in real-time voice calls or messages. AI Writing and Smart Reply streamline communication with auto-suggested messages, while AI Real-Time Translation enables instant bilingual conversation support via text or calls. The system adapts over time, learning from habits to offer a smoother, more personal user experience.

The phone’s AI-enhanced camera system features a 50MP main lens and 16MP front camera capable of professional-quality shots powered by computational photography. The suite includes Magic Eraser and Magic Editor to remove or reposition objects, Portrait Light and Magic Unblur to fix poor lighting or blurriness, and Dynamic Image Mode for crisp moving shots. Users can take hands-free selfies using Gesture Control, post motion photos with LivePhoto Sharing, and even record simultaneously with both front and rear cameras for creative vlogs and reviews.

Under the hood, the nubia V80 Design runs on a Unisoc T7280 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, offering up to 32.4% better performance than the previous generation. It supports up to 20GB dynamic RAM (8GB + 12GB virtual expansion) and 256GB internal storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and faster app performance. AI Scheduling intelligently allocates CPU power to boost efficiency, while App Freeze minimizes background drain, extending battery life by 20%.

A 5000mAh battery powers the phone throughout the day, supported by AI Night Charging to prevent overcharging and Bypass Charging for heat-free gaming sessions. The device also supports 10W reverse charging, turning it into a power bank for other gadgets.

Durability and usability are enhanced with IP64 dust and water resistance, dual-microphone noise reduction, NFC for contactless payments, and nubia linkfree Bluetooth calling. Audiophiles will enjoy 3D surround sound with professional-grade acoustic tuning and deep bass enhancement for an immersive listening experience.

Available in Pale Amber (8+12GB RAM + 256GB) and Midnight Black, the nubia V80 Design is priced at RM569 in Malaysia. It can be purchased via the nubia Malaysia Shopee Official Store or through physical outlets at IOI City Mall, IOI Mall Puchong, and Lowyat Plaza.
