Casio and Liberty London have teamed up for a special-edition AQ-230ELT and AQ-230EBLT, featuring laser-engraved Paisley Fanfare designs on metal bands and dials. They are priced at £114.90 and £134.90 respectively, and will be available on November 20.

Casio has announced a new collaboration with Liberty London, one of Britain’s most storied design houses. The result is two limited-edition models – AQ-230ELT-7A and AQ-230EBLT-1A – that reinterpret Casio’s cult-favorite vintage AQ-230 through Liberty’s iconic Paisley Fanfare print.

The AQ-230 series has long held a quiet fan base for its rectangular analog-digital layout and understated metal case. But this new edition introduces something radically different. Both versions – one in silver with a matching band, and the other in gunmetal black – feature detailed paisley engravings that run across the dial, bracelet, and clasp. Each line of the design is laser-etched, which gives the surface a lot of texture and depth.

While Casio has done numerous collaborations over the years, few have been this cohesive. Liberty’s detailing transforms what was once a minimalist design into something pretty artful, yet still wearable. Even the case back and clasp wear the Liberty logo. The AQ-230 lineup includes a dual time display, daily alarm, hourly time signal, stopwatch, and automatic calendar, powered by a reliable quartz movement with water resistance for everyday wear. The compact rectangular case and lightweight design make it suitable for both casual and formal use.

The watches come housed in special edition boxes that have the same flowing paisley artwork seen on the band. The silver AQ-230ELT-7A is priced at £114.90 (~$151), while the gunmetal AQ-230EBLT-1A comes in at £134.90 (~$177), both launching November 20, 2025. You can check out the official Casio UK webpage for the watches here.

For context, Liberty was established back in 1875, and has long been known for its textiles and ornate prints. And while the base model is quite simple in function – a digital display with analog hands – it’s the artistry that makes this drop noteworthy. Alternatively, the Casio AQ-230A7D is currently priced at only $47 on Amazon.
