Apple Arcade is gearing up for a busy December with several new titles, including a major sequel and a mix of popular franchises coming to the service. The lineup also expands in November with a new Apple Vision Pro release, adding more exclusive content for subscribers.

Apple is adding many new games to Apple Arcade this December, and the biggest one is SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2. The game launches on December 4 and is made by Old Skull Games and Nickelodeon. In this sequel, SpongeBob and Plankton work together to save Bikini Bottom from a new villain. Players can switch between the two characters, solve puzzles, fight bosses and explore familiar places like Goo Lagoon, Dead Eye Gulch and the streets of Bikini Bottom. There is also a local co-op mode so families and friends can play together.

Along with the new SpongeBob game, Apple Arcade is also adding PowerWash Simulator, Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition, Subway Surfers+ and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm+ on December 4. Before these games arrive, Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss, a real-time strategy game made for Apple Vision Pro, will launch on November 13. This adds even more exclusive content to the service.

PowerWash Simulator brings touch-optimised cleaning gameplay to iPhone and iPad, including the SpongeBob SquarePants Special Pack at launch. Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition debuts on mobile with exclusive decorations, follower forms and outfits, plus all existing DLC. Subway Surfers+ offers uninterrupted gameplay, while Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm+ delivers 3D fighting based on the popular manga and anime series.

Apple says players of existing titles can also expect new updates. Sneaky Sasquatch, one of the service’s most-played games, recently received a major addition in the form of a new farming town, allowing players to plant crops, drive tractors and explore Grandma’s farm.

    Apple Arcade availability and pricing

Apple Arcade costs $6.99 / €6.99 per month, and new users get a one-month free trial. Buyers of a new iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV receive three months free.

Apple Arcade is also part of Apple One:

    • Individual: $19.95 / €19.95 per month
    • Family: $25.95 / €25.95 per month

Both include a one-month trial. Arcade Originals work on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro. One subscription covers up to six family members.
