Casio has released two new G-Shock GM-S2110 watches in Japan: the GM-S2110-1A1 and the GM-S2110-1A7. These analog-digital timepieces feature an octagonal metal bezel, with the company describing them as bringing “minimalist silver/cool black color options” (machine translated) to the range.

The GM-S2110-1A1 has a black dial with a negative (dark background) display, while the GM-S2110-1A7 has a silver dial with a positive (light background) display. Both dials have a crosshatch hairline pattern, surrounded by a silver-tone stainless steel bezel and accompanied by a black resin strap. These watches mesures 45.9 x 40.5 x 11.0 mm (~1.8 x 1.6 x 0.4 inches) and weigh 56 g (~0.1 lbs).

Casio’s G-Shock GM-S2110 is a hybrid watch with two analog hands and a small inset digital display. The hands are said to remain accurate to within 15 seconds each month, and a shift feature moves them out of the way of the screen. The model supports world time, with users offered a choice of 31 time zones. Other features include a 1/100th second stopwatch, a countdown timer and five daily alarms.

You can now buy the Casio G-Shock GM-S2110-1A1 and GM-S2110-1A7 watches in Japan for ¥29,150 (~$188) each. These watches are also listed on the brand’s international website, indicating that they will be released in more countries at some point in the future. If they were to launch in the US, they might retail for $180 like the older GMS2110-7A6 (curr. $175.99 at Woot via Amazon).
