We’re only one episode into Landman season 2, and somehow Tommy’s (Billy Bob Thornton) life has managed to get dramatically worse. Not only is wife Angela (Ali Larter) throwing plates of spaghetti at him, but his mom died in the closing moments of episode 1.

Tommy’s dad TL (Sam Elliott) is now in the picture, with Tommy needing to make some kind of dysfunctional amends through the death of his mom. We’re yet to see how their relationship pans out, but it’s not going to be a straightforward one.

When do new episodes of Landman season 2 come out?

Landman season 2 is opting for an almost-weekly drop, with episodes running from November 16 through to January 18. In other words, our Christmas binge is already accounted for.

I say “almost” as episodes 8 and 9 are currently set to drop at the same time on January 4, 2026, which again is perfect timing for the post-festive hibernation.
