Seiko 5 Sports: New limited-edition watches announced with striking dials – NotebookCheck.net News

Seiko has just unveiled two new Seiko 5 Sports watches, the SRPM11K1 and SRPM13K1, inspired by winter sports and limited to only 1,000 pieces. The models sport purple and brown colour schemes and will be exclusive to select Southeast Asian markets.

Seiko has officially revealed two new Seiko 5 Sports models referencing winter-sports, created as Thong Sia Group exclusives for parts of Southeast Asia. The pair, references SRPM11K1 and SRPM13K1, were announced via Seiko Singapore’s social channels with a short launch video showing the watches against ski and snowboard footage.

Both models use the familiar Seiko 5 Sports diver-style case with a rotating bezel, metal bracelet and day-date window at three o’clock. Where they differ is in the colour and dial treatment. The SRPM11K1 comes in a deep purple tone, with matching bezel insert and dial. The markers and hands are bright, and the grid pattern on the dial gives it a slightly technical look that fits the “performance gear” angle Seiko is going for in the promo clips. The SRPM13K1 takes the same layout but shifts to a warm brown colour scheme. The dial appears to have a subtle gradient, from a darker outer ring to a lighter centre, again with the same grid texture.

According to the launch graphics, the two watches form a limited edition of 1,000 pieces and will be exclusive to Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore. The text does not break down whether that count applies to each reference or the series as a whole, but either way it points to a fairly small regional run.

Seiko has not yet published a full spec sheet, but the case shape, bracelet and dial layout indicate that these models sit squarely in the current Seiko 5 Sports family. That means buyers can expect the usual everyday-wear focus of the line rather than a pure tool diver.

Pricing and exact release dates have also not been listed in the teaser material; Seiko only states that the SRPM11 and SRPM13 are “coming soon.”

Buy the Seiko 5 Sports SSK033 on Amazon.
