Acemagic reveals powerful Tank M1A Pro Plus mini-PC crammed with AMD Radeon 8060S and up to 128 GB RAM – NotebookCheck.net News
Acemagic has decided to join the AMD Strix Halo party with the Tank M1A Pro Plus. Sporting a compact design and an eccentric design, the new mini-PC will rival the GMKtec EVO-X2 and other high-end competitors thanks to its AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU, Radeon 8060S iGPU and up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
Acemagic has released numerous mini-PCs over the years, including the F5A that it introduced over the summer with AMD’s Strix Point architecture. Now, the company has confirmed initial details about a new model that should rival the GMKtec EVO-X2 (curr. $1,699 on Amazon) and other high-end mini-PCs.
In short, it looks like Acemagic has updated the M1A Tank 03 to AMD’s Strix Halo platform. For context, Acemagic equipped the M1A Tank 03 with up to an Intel Core i9-12900H processor and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU. By contrast, the newer Tank M1A Pro Plus does away with a dedicated GPU altogether.
Nonetheless, the Tank M1A Pro Plus also features up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X RAM running at 8,000 MT/s, 12 TB of storage and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Acemagic has not revealed launch pricing or availability yet, though. Instead, it has only suggested that its Strix Halo mini-PC will be available soon.
