OnePlus is gearing up to launch a handful of new devices in the global market, and the Pad 2 Go is one of them. It was initially disclosed to be an affordable 5G Android tablet with support for the company’s Stylo stylus. With the latest round of teasers, the brand has officially shared more details of the device.

Among the newly shared specs is the relatively large 10,050 mAh battery, a proper upgrade from the first-gen OnePlus Pad Go. To look back, the predecessor features an 8,000 mAh battery, and it didn’t have support for reverse wired charging, which the upcoming affordable tablet will have.

The company has also confirmed that the tablet will sport a 12.1-inch display, noticeably larger than the 11.35-inch screen of the predecessor. This large panel of the OnePlus Pad Go 2 is set to have a “2.8K” resolution, and the brand touts that it can deliver “IMAX-sized” visuals.

One of the teasers adds that the upcoming tablet will offer cinematic sound, possibly with a quad-speaker setup. There’s still no official word from OnePlus about the SoC that will power the Pad Go 2, but recent leaks suggest that it will be the Dimensity 7300, a mid-range option that’s powering phones like the Motorola Edge 60 and Poco X7.

Recent reports also hint that the display of the tablet will have a 900-nit brightness rating, a 33 W fast charging support (Ugreen Nexode 65 W curr. $29.99 on Amazon), and support for Dolby Vision. More official details could emerge before the December 17, 2025, global launch event.
