Baseus 140-watt GaN charger discounted by 56% in Amazon’s ongoing holiday sale – NotebookCheck.net News

Thanks to Amazon’s ongoing holiday sale, the 140-watt Baseus PowerMega GaN charger is now available for a record-low price on the platform. With triple output ports and a compact design, the 140-watt fast charger is undoubtedly a useful gadget for multi-device users.

Baseus makes a good number of high-performance GaN chargers that are frequently found on sale. The PowerMega 140-watt fast charger is no different, and is currently available for an all-time low price of just $34.99 on Amazon, courtesy of a discount. Moreover, the charger also comes with a 3.3-feet USB-C cable rated for 240 watts.

The PowerMega 140-watt charger is quite compact, coming in at just 3.7 x 2.3 x 1.2 inches, weighing just over 0.62 lbs or 283 grams. A total of three output ports are on offer, consisting of two USB Type-C ports and a single USB Type-A port. The two Type-C ports are rated for 140 watts and 100 watts respectively, and the remaining USB-A port can only do 60 watts, which is plenty for almost any smartphone.

When more than one port is used, the output configuration changes, and has been detailed in the following image:

While we have not reviewed the Baseus PowerMega GaN charger, our friends at AppleInsider did get a chance to do so, and had mostly positive things to say. However, they did note that the 140-watt charger gets rather warm at full load, but not in an alarming way. The charger is, after all, 25% smaller than Apple’s 140-watt charger according to Baseus.

All told, the Baseus PowerMega 140-watt GaN charger is definitely an excellent grab at its current all-time low sale price on Amazon. For power users with multiple gadgets that can take advantage of the charger’s 140-watt peak output, the product hardly leaves any room for complaint.
