OPPO Reno 15 series launches in Malaysia from RM1499

OPPO has officially expanded its mid-range portfolio in Malaysia with the launch of the Reno 15 Series, bringing three new models to local consumers in the form of the Reno 15 F 5G, Reno 15 5G and Reno 15 Pro 5G. The latest lineup continues OPPO’s long-running Reno formula of blending strong imaging capabilities, sleek design and dependable performance, while introducing larger batteries, faster charging and more powerful processors across the range to meet the demands of today’s users.

Leading the series is the Reno 15 Pro 5G, which positions itself as the most premium option in the lineup. It features a compact 6.32-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals and vibrant colours in a more pocket-friendly form factor.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, a 4nm processor designed to handle multitasking, gaming and AI-assisted features with ease, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

One of the standout highlights of the Reno 15 Pro 5G is its camera system, headlined by a 200MP main sensor that promises highly detailed photos, supported by a 50MP telephoto camera and a 50MP ultra-wide lens for greater shooting flexibility. The device is backed by a sizeable 6,200mAh battery, ensuring all-day endurance, while fast charging support helps minimise downtime for users who are constantly on the move.

Sitting in the middle of the range is the Reno 15 5G, which aims to strike a balance between performance, camera versatility and battery life. It comes with a larger 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, also running at a 120Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for media consumption and gaming.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, offering a solid performance uplift over previous generations and catering well to everyday productivity and entertainment needs.

The Reno 15 5G features a versatile triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP telephoto lens offering around 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Selfies and video calls are handled by a high-resolution 50MP front camera. Fueling the device is a large 6,500mAh battery, complemented by 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, allowing users to quickly top up and stay connected throughout the day.

For users seeking a more affordable entry point into the Reno 15 family, the Reno 15 F 5G delivers a compelling mix of features without sacrificing the essentials. It sports a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a smooth and responsive experience for daily use.

The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro lens, while a 50MP front camera caters to selfie enthusiasts. Despite its more accessible positioning, the Reno 15 F 5G still packs a generous 6,500mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging, putting it on par with the higher-end models in terms of charging convenience. Expandable storage support further adds to its appeal for users who need extra space for photos, videos and apps.

In terms of pricing, OPPO has positioned the Reno 15 Series competitively in the Malaysian market. The Reno 15 F 5G is priced from around RM1,499, making it one of the more attractive options in the mid-range 5G segment. The Reno 15 5G starts from approximately RM1,999, with higher storage variants going up to around RM2,399, while the Reno 15 Pro 5G sits at the top of the lineup with a retail price of RM2,999 for its 12GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration. All three models are now available through OPPO Experience Stores nationwide, authorised retail partners and official online platforms.
