Last year, Asus introduced the Zenbook A14 (curr. $665 on Amazon) as a lightweight and Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered alternative to the Zenbook S14. For CES 2026, Asus has refreshed the Zenbook A14 with a Snapdragon X2 Elite model that promises to deliver ‘multi-day’ battery life. Not only that, but the company has complemented the 14-inch ultrabook with a 16-inch counterpart.

Suitably called the Zenbook A16, the new 16-inch laptop takes after the Zenbook S16 with a swelvte frame, a large battery and a dual fan design. As the image below shows, Asus equips the Zenbook A16 with a 3K, 120 Hz and 1,100 nit OLED display, a 70 Wh battery and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Ceraluminium makes a return, as does Asus’ Smart Gesture Touchpad and its ‘smudge-free’ keycaps.

Moreover, the Zenbook A16 sports up to a Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme chipset with 18 Oryon cores and a 65 W TDP, as well as 48 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. All this hardware is packed within a 1.2 kg and 13.8~16.5 mm thick housing that also contains HDMI 2.1, USB4, USB Type-A and SD 4.0 card I/O. Currently, Asus hopes to begin selling the Zenbook A16 during this quarter. A specific launch date and pricing remain unknown for now, though.
