TCL brought two of the most exciting flexible screen devices to CES 2026
TCL’s display tech appeared on a rollable gaming laptop concept on which the 16-inch display expands to an immersive 24-inch screen.

The CES 2026 show floor is packed with all kinds of devices, from questionably practical to amazingly innovative. And yeah, heaps of concept devices, too. As usual, devices with next-gen display tech drew a lot of attention, and this year, it was TCL that powered two of the most promising devices that might soon land on the shelves.
A foldable for the masses?
Motorola revealed its first book-style foldable phone at the show, and this one could again rewrite the rules for the market. Featuring a flexible 8.1-inch 2K LTPO panel supplied by TCL China Star Optoelectronics Technology (TCL CSOT), the device stood out with its sleek build and signature looks.
The latest offering from the Lenovo-owned brand, dubbed the Razr Fold, packs a 6.6-inch external screen, a trio of 50-megapixel cameras at the back, and a top-tier Qualcomm silicon. But what truly sets the device apart, hopefully, is the asking price.
Now, Motorola hasn’t officially revealed the asking price of its upcoming foldable phone, but if the history of clamshell-style Razr phones is anything to go by, this one’s going to undercut the foldable phones offered by the likes of Google and Samsung, among others.
An absurdly practical gaming laptop
When it comes to gaming, bigger is always better. However, beyond the 17-inch form factor, you won’t get many mainstream options in the gaming laptop segment. It would be unwise to make anything bigger because it would beat the whole purpose of a mobile gaming station.
Lenovo and TCL have other plans. Say hello to the Legion Pro Rollable Concept, a gaming laptop that comes equipped with a rollable Lenovo PureSight OLED Gaming display. In the normal state, you get a 16-inch display for work and play.
But thanks to the built-in dual motors, the display expands from both sides, first reaching a 21.5-inch canvas, and then expanding further into a wide-format 24-inch screen tailored for immersive gaming. It’s also packed to the gills with Intel’s top-tier silicon and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics.

Amazon is putting Alexa+ on Samsung TVs, cars, and even your finger
Alexa+ expands to BMW vehicles, Bosch coffee machine, and Oura Rings
Alexa is soon going to follow you from the living room to the car and even onto your finger. At CES 2026, Amazon announced that its next-generation Alexa+ assistant is expanding across Samsung TVs, BMW vehicles, Bosch appliances, and even Oura rings, marking one of the biggest ecosystem updates Alexa has seen in years.
On Samsung TVs, Alexa+ will show up as a more conversational assistant built directly into the screen. Users will be able to ask more natural, follow-up questions, search across apps, control playback, and manage smart home devices without bouncing between menus or remotes.
Dell’s new 52-inch UltraSharp monitor can replace your multi-screen setup and USB hub
Dell’s CES 2026 UltraSharp lineup pairs a massive 52-inch curved 6K Thunderbolt hub with a 32-inch 4K QD-OLED, targeting power users who want fewer screens and cleaner desks.
At CES 2026, Dell unveiled two new additions to its UltraSharp monitor lineup that push the boundaries of specifications. I’m talking about the world’s first 52-inch curved UltraSharp Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (that’s big enough to be mistaken for a television) and the 32-inch UltraSharp 4K QD-OLED monitor.
The 52-inch Dell UltraSharp Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U5226KW) offers a resolution of 6,144 x 2,560 pixels (6K; 129 ppi), supports a 120Hz refresh rate, and features IPS Black technology for richer contrast than standard IPS screens. Dell also claims that the monitor emits up to 60% less blue light than its competitors.
Lenovo and Motorola reveal Qira, an AI assistant that wants to do it all
Qira is a cross-device AI assistant for PCs and phones, which puts AI in driver’s seat.
Early in 2025, the Motorola AI bundle was announced. It was a set of proactive AI-powered features that relied on a mix of Perplexity, Gemini, and Meta’s open-source AI models on smartphones. It offered on-screen guidance, voice-based assistance, improved search, and more such perks. At CES 2026, Motorola is announcing an evolution of that stack, which is also being implemented in Lenovo PCs, too.
The big picture
