New Magic Cue upgrades could let your Pixel 10 show tickets and reminders automatically
A smarter Magic Cue is coming soon

Google appears to be working on making Magic Cue more useful on the Pixel 10 series. For the uninitiated, Magic Cue works like a background assistant, and it is easily one of the best AI features in Pixel 10. It can pull relevant information from apps you already use and surfaces it at just the right moment.
For example, if you are chatting about a trip, Magic Cue might show your flight details without you having to search for them. Until now, it has relied on apps like Gmail, Messages, Calendar, Contacts, Keep, and Pixel Screenshots to do this.
Magic Cue integrations with Wallet and Tasks
According to Android Authority, Google is now experimenting with adding Google Wallet and Google Tasks to Magic Cue. These new options were spotted as inactive toggles inside Magic Cue’s settings on a Pixel 10 device. If enabled, Wallet integration could allow Magic Cue to surface boarding passes, event tickets, transit cards, or even payment cards exactly when they are needed.
One particularly useful upgrade would be real-time travel updates. While Magic Cue can already pull travel details from Gmail, it does not support live status changes. Google Wallet already does this for certain train tickets and passes, and connecting the two could finally bring live updates into Magic Cue.
Google Tasks integration could also make reminders more visible by letting Magic Cue surface to-do lists and deadlines directly, instead of relying solely on Calendar entries. This could make the feature feel more proactive, especially for people who use Tasks heavily.
These features are not live currently as it is under development. If Google releases these features, Magic Cue could turn the Pixel 10 into a more intuitive device, offering timely assistance without constant prompts or interruptions.
Google has recently upgraded Magic Cue on the Pixel 10 with more advanced Gemini-powered models while keeping user privacy intact, and some reports suggest that Magic Cue’s smarter assistance could eventually make its way to other Android phones as well.

Pixel 10a might dodge a price hike, but that isn’t entirely good news
With the same price and possibly the same specs, Google’s budget Pixel — the Pixel 10a — may be playing it safer than ever.
The ongoing memory crisis might spare Google’s Pixel 10a after all. According to the French publication Dealabs, the company could retain Pixel 9a’s pricing for the upcoming model.
For the baseline variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, the Pixel 10a could cost EUR 549, while the 256GB storage variant could cost EUR 649. These are similar to the Pixel 9a’s retail price. However, as mentioned in the report, these prices are primarily for Europe.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 might adopt a unique display tech for a crease-free look
A new ultra thing glass structure could improve foldable durability
Samsung is preparing a major display upgrade for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, one that could make the fold line far less visible than what we have seen so far. The buzz started after Samsung Display showcased a nearly wrinkle-free foldable OLED panel at CES 2026.
According to industry watchers, this new panel is likely headed for Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8, which is expected to arrive in the second half of the year. Compared to the current Galaxy Z Fold 7, the new display reportedly improves crease depth by 20%, which could translate into a noticeably smoother screen when the phone is unfolded.
Satellite 5G could be the next big upgrade for Apple’s upcoming ‘Pro’ iPhones
With the iPhone 18 Pro, Apple may be preparing the biggest shift in smartphone connectivity since 5G, bringing high-speed satellite internet to consumers.
So far, satellite connectivity on iPhones has focused on low-bandwidth emergency tools, including Emergency SOS via Satellite (2022) and Messages via Satellite (2024).
However, with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple could change the smartphone-satellite communication paradigm in a way no Android manufacturer has yet, by introducing “5G via Satellite.”
