Alternatively, the stand can be used with other projectors that are up to 132 mm wide, 3 kg in weight and compatible with a bottom-mounted 1/4-inch imperial screw. Moreover, the stand can be rotated by up to 360° for projecting onto ceilings. Xiaomi stresses that device lengths and external port positioning mean that only the Smart Projector L1 Pro is fully compatible with ceiling projection mode.

Xiaomi has priced its Projector Multi-angle Stand at €49.99 (~$60) in France. For some reason, Spain has received the same accessory for just €24.99 (~$30). At this stage, it remains to be seen whether the latter is introductory pricing, though. Please see Xiaomi’s website for more details.
