Casio’s most-advanced Pro Trek watch with ABC sensors, flame-resistant case, and Bluetooth is heavily discounted right now – NotebookCheck.net News

Amazon just knocked the Casio Pro Trek PRW-B1000-1 down to $434, its lowest price so far. That’s a rare discount on a square, Triple Sensor-equipped Pro Trek built for serious time outdoors.

Casio’s Pro Trek series offers some of the best outdoor watches designed to survive extreme weather conditions. The Pro Trek PRW-B1000-1 sits at the top as the most expensive and feature-packed in the lineup, combining the company’s acclaimed Triple Sensor tech with a ruggedly elegant design. It’s the sort of watch that promises to survive treks that would push a standard smartwatch like the Apple Watch well beyond its comfort zone. Usually commanding a premium of $640, this stylish field watch is currently at its lowest price to date.

Amazon has quietly slashed the price of the Pro Trek PRW-B1000-1 by over 30%. For a limited time, you can snag this stylish angular outdoor watch for just $434, a solid $206 off its usual retail price of $640 and an all-time low price. Casio’s own storefront is still charging full price for this model, which makes this deal even more tantalizing.

A rugged Pro Trek built for hikers and life off the grid

The PRW-B1000-1 is a striking departure from the old-school round Pro Treks. The design is inspired by climbing gear, featuring a square stainless-steel bezel that mimics the rock formation of Yosemite’s El Capitan, which you can see in its sharp edges and corner slits representing cracks in the rock face. The climbing motif continues on the dial, where the indicator hand at the 9 o’clock position is shaped like an old-school piton once used in rock climbing.

If your adventures involve campfires and stoves, you won’t have to worry about wayward sparks leaving burnmarks or damaging the watch, thanks to the flame-resistant center case. It’s also the first Casio watch that features a band reinforced with cellulose nanofiber (CNF), keeping it light and flexible while adding durability and strength to withstand harsh environmental factors.

Notably, the PRW-B1000-1 comes equipped with both Bluetooth and Multiband 6 radio control. This means you get precise timekeeping whether you are syncing with your smartphone or relying on radio calibration signals deep in the backcountry. The Bluetooth integration also unlocks a clever Location Indicator feature. For example, you can mark a spot in the app—like where you parked your car at the trailhead—and the indicator hand in the inset dial at the 3 o’clock position will physically point you back to it with the dot-matrix LCD displaying the distance from your current location.

Finally, you’re getting Casio’s Triple Sensor setup for altitude, barometric pressure, compass direction, and temperature, along with Tough Solar, so you’re not worrying about chargers in the middle of nowhere.
