Turkish mobile developer Vento Games secures $4m in seed round funding
CEO says funding will be used to “create long-lasting, innovative puzzle games that spark joy”
Turkish mobile developer Vento Games, founded in 2024 by former execs from Peak Games, Fungo, and Zynga, has raised $4 million in its latest seed round.
The seed round, led by Makers Fund and Arcadia Gaming Partners, will be used to “accelerate the growth of their portfolio of charming, brain-building mobile puzzle games” like Blossom Word Search, Words of Wonder: Search, and Okey Plus.
The team said it will also be used to create “long-lasting, family-friendly, visually-rich, and innovative games” with wide appeal and claims it has a competitive edge thanks to the team’s “rapid production capability, data-driven mindset, and strategy of developing content tailored for international markets.”
“We are focused on creating long-lasting, innovative puzzle games that are both mentally stimulating and that spark joy in players of all ages and skill levels,” said Mustafa DaÄŸlı, co-founder and CEO, Vento Games.
“We believe great games come from a deep understanding of what makes players come back every day. Our approach is centered around identifying core fun loops early, iterating rapidly and combining creative intuition with rigorous data-driven decision making. We are excited to have the support of world class investors, Makers Fund and Arcadia, to accelerate scaling our first game, expanding our portfolio and adding top talent to our team.”
Michael Cheung, general partner at Makers Fund, added: “The Vento Games team have hard-fought experience building and launching multiple successful puzzle titles together, a rare quality we admire. We look forward to supporting them as they build on their expertise.”
