Casio’s latest Mudmaster models in the Casio G-Shock GGB100X lineup are now officially available through the Casio US online store. The range includes five analog-digital watches with quad-sensor functionality, robust construction and Bluetooth connectivity. Prices start at $420, depending on the bezel material. The collection consists of three carbon-bezel models and two stainless-steel variants. The entry-level options – GGB100X-1A, GGB100X-1A3 and GGB100X-1A9 – are listed at $420. The metal-bezel versions, GGB100XM-1A and GGB100XMB-1A, are priced at $440 and $460 respectively. This confirms their wider retail rollout in the US following earlier availability through select third-party sellers.

Like previous Mudmaster watches, the GGB100X series is meant for use in the outdoors and demanding environments. Each model features a large 55.4 × 51.3 × 19.4 mm case built around Casio’s Carbon Core Guard structure, using carbon fiber with resin and stainless steel. The watches offer 200-meter water resistance and mud resistance, with resin straps and protective case construction.

Functionality is taken care of by Casio’s Quad Sensor system. The watches sport an altimeter with a measurement range up to 10,000 meters, a barometer capable of tracking pressure changes and generating trend graphs, a digital compass and a thermometer. A step counter using a three-axis acceleration sensor is also included, so the watch can double as a basic activity tracker.

Bluetooth connectivity lets you pair your Mudmaster with the Casio Watches smartphone app for automatic time synchronization, world-time updates and additional data features such as mission logs and location tracking. The watches also support approximately 300 world-time cities via the app. Standard digital watch functions remain present, including a 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, five daily alarms, LED illumination and a full auto calendar through the year 2099. Battery life is rated at roughly two years using a CR2025 cell. While not solar-powered, the watches include a power-saving feature that puts the sensor system into sleep mode after a while of inactivity.

The main differences between the models are in their exterior materials and styling. The standard GGB100X variants use carbon fiber bezels and bio-based resin components, while the GGB100XM and GGB100XMB models add stainless-steel bezels with brushed or ion-plated finishes for a more premium look and feel. You can currently purchase all five variants directly from Casio starting at $420.
