The best Mario Day Deals we found for your Nintendo Switch

MAR10 sale is live, and here are the best Switch deals

    Nintendo

Every year on March 10 (better known as MAR10 day), Nintendo celebrates its most famous plumber with promotions across games and merchandise. For Nintendo Switch owners, it is also one of the best times of the year to grab some classic Mario titles at a discounted price.

This year’s Mario Day sale includes discounts on a mix of platformers, party games, and remakes starring Mario and friends. The promotion runs for a limited time across Nintendo eShop and select retailers. So if you’ve been waiting to expand your Switch library, these discounts are worth a look.

Mario Day Deals worth checking out

Here are some of the most notable discounts currently live as part of the MAR10 Day promotion:

    • Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury – about $39.99 (33% off)
    • Luigi’s Mansion 3 – about $39.99 (33% off)
    • Super Mario Maker 2 – about $39.99 (33% off)
    • Super Mario RPG – about $41.99 (30% off)
    • Super Mario Party Jamboree – about $41.99 (30% off)
    • Donkey Kong Country Returns HD – about $41.99 (30% off)
    • Mario vs. Donkey Kong – about $39.99 (20% off)
    • Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope – about $5.99 (massive 90% discount)
    • Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 – about $29.99 (50% off)

The official Nintendo sale page also highlights several of these games, including Luigi’s Mansion 3, Super Mario Maker 2, and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury as part of the MAR10 Day event.

Perfect time to buy Switch games

Nintendo is notorious for keeping its first-party games close to full price even years after launch. So promotions like MAR10 Day are the best opportunities to grab popular Switch titles for less. It also offers a good entry point for newer Switch owners looking to explore Mario’s adventures, from platforming classics and party games to RPGs and puzzle spin-offs.

Just don’t wait too long, since Mario Day promotions are limited-time offers that typically run through mid-March. So after March 15 at 11:59 PM PT, these games will return to their standard pricing.

Mario Day brings three classic games to the Switch library

Three retro Mario games just dropped on Switch Online, and they’re yours to play right now.

Every year on March 10, Nintendo pulls out all the stops to celebrate its most iconic character. The date, written as MAR10, spells out Mario, and that is all the reason Nintendo needs to throw a party.

This year is special as it marks the 40th anniversary of the Mario franchise, and the celebrations are bigger than ever, with major discounts on the Nintendo eShop and, most importantly, three classic game drops for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.

Razer unveils a fully agentic version of its AI companion AVA

The assistant can run locally on a PC or tap into cloud models for heavier tasks.

Razer is taking its AI ambitions a step further. According to a new report from Variety, the company has unveiled a “fully agentic” version of its AI companion AVA, capable of running both locally on a PC and in the cloud. The reveal came from Quyen Quach, Razer’s VP of Software, who outlined how the assistant is evolving from a gaming-focused helper into a more autonomous digital companion.

Unlike traditional chatbots that simply respond to prompts, the new version of AVA is designed to act more independently, completing tasks and assisting users proactively. Quach described the technology as “fully agentic,” meaning the AI can perform actions, analyze situations, and interact with systems in ways that go beyond simple conversational responses.

An original Xbox emulator just hit Android and it’s already messy

A paid port of the open-source xemu project has arrived, sparking backlash and a promise from the official team.

A paid version of the open-source original Xbox emulator xemu just landed on Android, and the drama followed right behind it. The app, called X1 BOX, is an unofficial port that hit the Play Store without the xemu team’s involvement, and it’s already drawing criticism for charging money for free software.

The xemu team has acknowledged the port and confirmed that a free official Android release is coming. In the meantime, you’ve got options. A free build is available outside Google Play through a GitHub project offering APK releases. That version stems from the same Android port code but carries the same unofficial status. That gives Android users a paid store version and a sideloaded alternative, though neither has the original developers’ approval.
