ASUS Zenbook A14 Launches in Malaysia: The Lightest 14-inch Copilot+ PC

ASUS Malaysia has officially introduced the Zenbook A14 (UX3407), the lightest 14-inch Copilot+ PC available. This is also the first all-Ceraluminum ASUS AI laptop and the first Zenbook model powered by the latest Snapdragon X Series AI-enabled processors. Designed to redefine lightweight computing, the Zenbook A14 addresses common challenges such as durability, performance, cooling, battery life, and connectivity, making it an ultraportable yet powerful AI-driven laptop.

The Zenbook A14 features an ultralight chassis starting at just 899g, making it one of the most portable laptops on the market. Its all-Ceraluminum body is 30% lighter and three times stronger than anodized aluminum, providing enhanced durability without adding extra weight.

The laptop has undergone rigorous durability tests, including scratch resistance testing, where it was placed with keys and coins inside a rotating drum, shock resistance testing, with drops from a 50cm height, and wear resistance testing, where the material was rubbed 18,000 times in the same spot to ensure the color remains intact. These tests ensure that the Zenbook A14 is highly resistant to scratches, shocks, and long-term wear, making it ideal for daily use and frequent travel.

Equipped with a Snapdragon X Series processor and a high-capacity 70Wh battery, the Zenbook A14 provides multi-working-day battery life, offering up to 29 hours of video playback on a single charge. The dual-fan thermal system is designed for efficient cooling, ensuring that the processor can deliver up to 45W of performance without overheating.

Additionally, the 0dB Whisper Mode allows for silent operation, making the laptop perfect for professional and academic environments where quiet performance is essential.

The Zenbook A14 is built for productivity and seamless device integration. It features a 45 TOPS Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, which enhances AI-driven computing for real-time insights, performance optimization, and efficient multitasking.

The inclusion of Windows Phone Link allows users to connect their Android or iOS devices directly to the laptop for answering calls, managing notifications, and transferring files effortlessly. The Snapdragon Seamless integration creates a cross-device ecosystem, enabling quick file sharing, screen mirroring, and synchronization between compatible Snapdragon-powered devices.

Security is a key focus in the Zenbook A14, with Windows Hello facial recognition allowing for fast and secure logins. The Adaptive Lock and Adaptive Dimming features automatically lock the laptop and dim the screen when the user steps away, enhancing privacy and energy efficiency. Additionally, the Microsoft Pluton security chip provides hardware-level protection, ensuring sensitive data remains secure from cyber threats.

The laptop is designed with a refined user experience in mind, featuring an enlarged touchpad with Smart Gesture support for improved navigation. The keyboard features smudge-free keycaps and a comfortable 1.3mm key travel, ensuring an ergonomic typing experience. The ASUS EasyLift hinge provides stable, wobble-free screen opening and balanced weight distribution, improving usability and comfort.

For entertainment and multimedia use, the Zenbook A14 features a 14-inch FHD+ OLED NanoEdge display that delivers vivid colors and deep contrasts, ensuring an immersive visual experience. The laptop is equipped with two high-quality speakers, providing rich audio output for music, video streaming, and conference calls. Snapdragon Sound technology enhances audio quality with High-Resolution Audio (24-bit / 192kHz), ultra-low latency for seamless synchronization, and advanced noise cancellation for clear voice calls.

The Zenbook A14 (UX3407) is available in Malaysia in two configurations:

    • Zenbook A14 with Snapdragon X Processor – RM4,999
    • Zenbook A14 with Snapdragon X Elite Processor – RM5,999

As part of an early bird promotion from March 7 to March 31, 2025, customers who purchase the Zenbook A14 from selected stores will receive a free ASUS ZenScreen MB166B worth RM700, while stocks last.
