Keywords Studios, the international provider of external development for games and entertainment, is launching Keywords Studios AI Solutions.

The aim is to support developers with exploring the ethical use of AI technologies while preserving the human talent at the core of game creation, the company said. That’s worth noting as Keywords Studios has 12,000 people.

Over the past several years, Keywords Studios has collaborated with production teams across the globe on various AI supported projects – testing and researching the capabilities of AI technologies across game development. Helpshift is among the tech being used in the solution.

Cross studio applied research projects Ava and Kara assessed over 500 AI tools alone, testing AI pipelines in a real-life production environment. This enabled the AI Solutions team to learn best approaches to AI solutions while developing a unique AI experimentation methodology.

From improving player support via Helpshift’s AI technologies, to the creation of a secure internal chatbot to accelerate safe AI adoption across Keywords Studios’ 70+ facilities, the Keywords Studios AI Solutions team brings extensive research and hands-on experience in the realities of integrating AI into game development.
