Abxylute has revealed pricing details for its upcoming M4 Snap-On Controller ahead of it’s debut on Kickstarter. The controller will also be available in a new color, bringing the available options to three.

Back in August, Abxylute teased a mobile controller that magnetically attaches to smartphones. It has now released more details of the gaming accessory, which will be sold as the Abxylute M4 Snap-On Mobile Controller.

According to a post made on its Discord channel, the Abxylute M4 Snap-On will launch soon on Kickstarter. There’s already a page, but the crowdfunding campaign is yet to go live. However, while there isn’t a date yet, Abxylute has revealed the early bird pricing for the accessory.

When the campaign goes live, early buyers will be able to purchase the Abxylute M4 Snap-On for $39. This is a fraction of the price of the MCON magnetic controller which is available to pre-order for $149.99. However, that huge difference in price will be reduced when Abxylute announces the final retail price of the M4 Snap-On controller.

In addition to announcing the price, Abxylute also shared images of the Abxylute M4 Snap-On in bright Orange, which seems to be inspired by the orange Nintendo GameCube controller. The new color joins the already-announced Black Translucent and Gray color options.

The Abxylute M4 Snap-On Mobile Controller attaches via magnets to smartphones. It will be compatible with those that already have built-in magnets such as iPhones with MagSafe and the Pixel 10 series. It should also work with phones with a magnetic case. Owners can also detach the controller and use it standalone.

The controller connects via Bluetooth to the smartphone, and it is compatible with emulators and cloud streaming services. It has ABXY buttons in Nintendo’s layout, hair triggers, and two thumbsticks. Abxylute says the M4 Snap-On has a built-in battery that should provide between 12 and 13 hours of use.

Apart from the M4 Snap-On Controller, Abxylute also has two other controllers on the way. They are the N6 Switch Deck and N9 Switch Grip, both of which are made for the Nintendo Switch 2 (available on Amazon for $499).
