Acer Malaysia introduces super lightweight TravelMate P6 AI laptop

Acer Malaysia has officially introduced its latest business-centric innovations with the launch of the TravelMate P6 14 AI laptop and Vero CB2 series monitors, both engineered to meet the performance, comfort, and sustainability needs of modern professionals.

TravelMate P6 14 AI: Ultra-Lightweight Powerhouse for Business on the Move

Designed for professionals who require portability, performance, and enterprise-grade security, the new TravelMate P6 14 AI delivers up to 120 TOPS of AI performance in a sub-1kg chassis, topped with a premium carbon fibre cover for enhanced durability. Paired with a magnesium-aluminium alloy frame, the laptop is Military Grade Certified for rugged use in dynamic work environments.

Equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra 200V series processors and AI acceleration, the laptop supports up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM with speeds of up to 8533 MT/s, ensuring smooth multitasking and efficient power consumption. Users can expect long-lasting productivity from its 65Wh battery, while AI-enhanced features like Acer PurifiedView and PurifiedVoice provide superior video call experiences. The built-in QuickPanel also allows fast access to camera and microphone settings.

For display, users can choose between a WUXGA (1920×1200) touchscreen and a WQXGA+ (2880×1800) resolution variant, both offering 100% sRGB colour accuracy and up to 400 nits brightness.

In terms of security, the TravelMate P6 14 AI features IR facial recognition, a privacy shutter, and Acer User Sensing—an AI-powered presence detection system that locks the device when the user walks away and instantly wakes it upon return. The integrated Acer ProShield Plus software enhances device management with powerful encryption and system control tools.

On the sustainability front, the device is built using recycled materials and packaged in eco-friendly boxes, earning both EPEAT registration and TCO 10 certification—meeting some of the most stringent global standards for environmentally responsible electronics.

TravelMate Sense software further simplifies IT management with a dedicated key that provides access to several tools. The Workflow feature allows users to customise profiles for modes like Meeting, Work, or Away. Secure Guard strengthens security with USB device filters, personal secure drive options, file encryption, and dynamic screen locking. The Checkup tool helps monitor device health and offers battery calibration guidance to optimise performance and upkeep.

The Acer TravelMate P6 14 AI is available now at a starting price of RM6,799 through the Acer eStore and authorized resellers nationwide.

Acer Vero CB2 Series Monitors: Eye Comfort Meets Environmental Responsibility

Also unveiled today are the Acer Vero CB242Y G and CB272 G monitors, designed to deliver clarity and comfort for professionals while championing sustainable values. Both models feature Full HD IPS panels, 120Hz refresh rates, and 1ms VRB, providing fluid visuals ideal for long hours of content creation, development, or general productivity tasks.

Built with eye health in mind, the monitors are equipped with Acer VisionCare™ 2.0, which includes BlueLightShield Pro, Flicker-less, and ComfyView technologies, along with TÜV-certified low blue light panels to reduce eye strain during extended use. Ergonomically, users benefit from ErgoStand tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments, wide viewing angles, and a ZeroFrame design that is ideal for multi-monitor setups.

In line with Acer’s eco-conscious Vero brand, the CB2 series monitors are made with 85% post-consumer recycled plastic, 5% ocean-bound plastic, and are packaged using 100% recyclable materials. These monitors also carry TCO Edge, ENERGY STAR, and EPEAT Gold certifications, underlining Acer’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

The Vero CB242Y G and CB272 G are available now at RM469 and RM599 respectively via Acer’s official online store and authorized resellers nationwide.
