Acer has announced its latest lineup of gaming laptops, introducing new Predator and Nitro models powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs. The refreshed range is designed to deliver a balance of high performance, advanced graphics and AI-enabled capabilities, catering to gamers with different needs, from power users to casual and on-the-go players. Alongside the new laptops, Acer also revealed the Predator Galea 570 gaming headset and Predator Cestus 530 gaming mouse to complete its premium gaming ecosystem.

At the top of the lineup sits the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI, which combines flagship-level performance with a slimmer and more portable design. Housed in an 18.9mm slim metal chassis, the laptop is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU based on the Blackwell architecture. With support for NVIDIA DLSS 4, the new GPU promises significantly improved performance and image generation speeds, making it suitable not only for modern AAA games but also for demanding creative and AI workloads.

The Predator Helios Neo 16S AI features a 16-inch WQXGA OLED display, delivering deep contrast, vibrant colours and true HDR support, which enhances both immersive gameplay and creative work such as photo or video editing. To keep performance consistent under load, Acer equips the laptop with a robust thermal solution that includes a 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fan system and liquid metal thermal grease. Internally, it supports up to 64GB of DDR5 memory running at 6400MT/s and up to 2TB of PCIe storage, ensuring fast boot times, quick game loads and smooth multitasking.

Beyond raw performance, the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI is positioned as a Copilot+ PC on Windows 11, offering AI-powered experiences such as Live Captions for improved communication during gaming or streaming. Acer Intelligence Space further enhances productivity and creativity by integrating AI tools directly into the system. Connectivity is also a strong point, with Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro Wi-Fi 6E, Thunderbolt 4 and a full suite of high-speed I/O ports for peripherals and external displays. Audio and video are handled by DTS:X Ultra speakers and an FHD IR webcam, making the laptop equally suitable for gaming, content creation and conferencing.

For gamers looking for a more accessible option, Acer expanded its Nitro series with the Nitro V 16 AI and Nitro V 16S AI. The Nitro V 16 AI is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, offering a strong balance of performance and value. It supports up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage, paired with DTS:X Ultra audio and an FHD IR webcam with a physical camera shutter, all packaged in a streamlined design aimed at everyday gamers and creators.

The Nitro V 16S AI takes a step further in portability, measuring under 17.9mm thick while still offering up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor and RTX 5070 Laptop GPU with up to 798 AI TOPS. Designed for casual gamers or users who need a capable machine on the move, it features a 16-inch WUXGA display, a four-zone RGB keyboard, Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E and an FHD IR webcam with a shutter. Like the Predator models, both Nitro laptops integrate Acer Intelligence Space and qualify as Copilot+ PCs, with NPUs capable of delivering over 45 AI TOPS for on-device AI tasks such as real-time translations and content creation.

Complementing the new laptops, Acer introduced two new gaming peripherals under its Predator brand. The Predator Galea 570 gaming headset features 50mm drivers tuned for deep bass and clear highs, with sound and microphone settings adjustable through the Predator QuarterMaster app. Environmental Noise Cancellation technology helps ensure clear voice communication, whether using the detachable boom microphone or the built-in mic. The headset supports triple connectivity via 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.4 or wired mode, and offers up to 30 hours of use.

Meanwhile, the Predator Cestus 530 gaming mouse is built for competitive play, featuring a PixArt PAW3395 sensor with up to 26,000 DPI, 650 IPS tracking and an 8,000Hz polling rate. It supports wired, Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity, is rated for 80 million clicks and can be customised via the Predator QuarterMaster app.

In terms of availability, Acer confirmed that the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI will roll out across different regions from early to mid-2026, with the Nitro V series following a similar timeline. The Predator Galea 570 headset and Predator Cestus 530 mouse are expected to launch in early 2026, with pricing starting from USD 149 and USD 109 respectively in select markets. Local availability and pricing for Malaysia have yet to be announced, but the new lineup signals Acer’s continued push into AI-powered gaming hardware as the next generation of laptops and peripherals takes shape.
