One of the major highlights of the new buds is the rated battery life. Honor says that the Earbuds S can deliver up to 42.5 hours of run time with the charging case, while the earbuds themselves can offer up to 9.5 hours of playtime. There’s a fast charging feature, which is said to offer 3 hours of battery life with just a 10-minute charge (4-port Anker 140 W fast charger curr. $59.99 on Amazon).

As for the audio performance, Honor notes that the Earbuds S come with a 12.4 mm driver setup, which promises to offer detailed audio output, with rich lows and powerful bass. The ANC feature of the buds is said to be capable of delivering 49 dB of noise cancellation, promising an immersive listening experience.

There’s a dual microphone setup, which, with AI-powered noise reduction, is said to offer a noise-free calling experience. Honor also highlights the overall design of the Earbuds S, specifically the lightweight build of the buds.

Other highlights of the Earbuds S included support for spatial audio, quick pairing, IP54 water and dust resistance rating, and availability in three colors. Honor has yet to share when these affordable Bluetooth buds will make an international debut, but the company will likely bring them outside China during the global Honor 500 series launch event.
