After 3 years of work and more than 70,000 blocks, he created a new realistic world in Minecraft – NotebookCheck.net News
A Reddit user recently unveiled a custom world that they claim took three years of work, and more than 70,000 blocks to make. The Redditor had to turn to various various tools, and the result is impressive and unbelievably realistic.
The imagination of Minecraft players continues to push the limits. While many mods have been created over the years, some players embark on impressive projects. Therefore, if it is possible to see historical monuments in this game, a Reddit user recently unveiled his custom world of more than 70,000 blocks.
As he explains in his Reddit post, Plopidr_ started this project with a friend three years ago, with the goal of creating a cartography. However, it turned into the largest Minecraft world he had ever created, measuring 50,000 blocks by 30,000 blocks. And that’s not all, because the maximum height on the map is 512 blocks, and in total, there are more than 30 types of geography.
This work was done with the help of World Machine, which is a 3D terrain generator that can generate various lands such as mountains, deserts, and rivers. World Painter was also used to model the terrain and add numerous decorative elements. It should also be noted that the Voxy mod was used to achieve this result.
In the video shared by the user, we can see very realistic valleys, forests, rivers, and lakes. Some sequences are quite impressive, such as when we see the mountain peaks at sunset. However, if you want to play it, you should know that this is unfortunately not possible at the moment. Indeed, the user points out that this map is not suitable for survival due to the lack of buildings. In addition, there are caves and minerals, but they were generated before Caves and Cliffs, which is not ideal.
