Machenike has updated its Mini GTR mini-PC, following the launch of the GTS with Intel Arrow Lake-H earlier this month. Incidentally, it seems that the GTS is set to receive a full global release too, full details of which we have covered separately. As for the Mini GTR, Machenike already sells it with Hawk Point APUs like the Ryzen 7 8745HS (curr. $649 on Amazon).

Now, the company has updated its AMD-touting mini-PC to AMD’s Strix Point architecture, which should more closely rival the GTS when it comes to CPU and GPU performance. Specifically, Machenike is now offering the Mini GTR with the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, a 4 nm APU that packs 4 Zen 5 CPU cores, 8 Zen 5c CPU cores and the Radeon 890M iGPU. Fed up to 70 W of power, the Radeon 890M should be capable of playing many triple-A games at 1080p and low to medium graphics settings.

Alternatively, a USB4 port is on hand for those looking to add an eGPU solution. Moreover, the mini-PC features 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, six USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports and two dedicated video outputs, all within a 0.74 litre case that measures 128 x 128 x 43.1 mm and weighs around 650 g. On top of that, the Mini GTR contains upgradeable SO-DIMM RAM and M.2 2280 storage. Currently, Machenike sells the Mini GTR with a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage for CNY 6,999 (~$986) in China. While exact launch details for other markets remain unknown for now, Machenike lists the Mini GTR on its global website.
