Anker launches new desktop charger with retractable cables in US – NotebookCheck.net News

Anker has released the new Nano Charging Station (7-in-1, 100W) in the US. Spotted in Japan earlier this year, this desktop charger features multiple AC outlets and USB ports. Plus, there are two auto-retracting USB-C cables, each offering an up to 100W power output.

The Anker Nano Charging Station (7-in-1, 100W) is now available in the US. This accessory was listed at the brand’s online store in Japan earlier this year and is designed to help you minimize clutter on your desk.

Three of the seven outputs of the new Nano Charging Station are AC outlets, all at the rear of the accessory. On one side are two USB ports, an up to 100W USB-C output and an up to 12W USB-A output. Plus, there is a retractable USB-C cable on each side of the device, both extending up to 2.3 ft (~0.7 m). These cables have been tested to withstand over 18,000 pulls and bends, so they should last for more than five years.

The 100W USB-C output is said to allow users to charge a MacBook Pro (M3 Pro) to 50% in 35 minutes or a MacBook Pro 14 (M4) to 50% in 30 minutes. The desktop charger also features active cooling technology, with the temperature measuring over 6,000,000 times daily. Plus, at the front of the device is a 1.3-inch LCD display, showing real-time charging information or the internal temperature.

You can now buy the Anker Nano Charging Station (7-in-1, 100W) at Amazon in the US for $89.99. The accessory is currently only available in this market in black, though a white version is also offered in Japan. Whether or when a version of this product for the UK or the EU could arrive is unclear.
