ASUS Malaysia Launches New ASUS Gaming Series laptops

ASUS Malaysia has unveiled its brand-new ASUS Gaming series, introducing a fresh line of lightweight and powerful laptops designed to meet the needs of modern gamers, content creators, and students. Built on the theme “Lightweight, Game On”, the series redefines portable performance by combining gaming power and everyday versatility in a sleek, compact design.

Two New Models: ASUS Gaming V16 and K16

    ASUS Gaming V16

The lineup debuts with two models — the ASUS Gaming V16 (V3607) and ASUS Gaming K16 (K3605) — both equipped with immersive displays, solid graphics performance, and user-friendly features that cater to both work and play.

Unlike traditional bulky gaming laptops, these models are impressively light and slim, making them ideal for users seeking portability without compromising performance.

    Lightweight Champion in its Class

With a chassis weighing as little as 1.80kg and measuring just 1.89cm in thickness, the ASUS Gaming series stands out as one of the lightest and slimmest 16-inch gaming laptops available today. Despite its compact size, it includes a complete set of I/O ports, ensuring users stay connected whether they’re at home, campus, or on the move. The laptops are powered by a high-capacity 63Wh battery, delivering reliable all-day use for gaming, productivity, and entertainment.

    Game-Ready Performance

The ASUS Gaming series offers up to an Intel® Core™ 5 Processor 510H and up to an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4050 Laptop GPU, capable of handling demanding games, creative workloads, and multitasking. With up to two cooling fans and an advanced thermal design, users can enjoy peak performance with minimal noise and heat. The series supports a combined TDP of up to 70W, providing consistent, high-level output wherever you go.

Immersive Display for Play and Creation

Both models feature a 16-inch IPS FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 1920 x 1200 resolution, designed for ultra-smooth visuals and reduced latency.

The 89% screen-to-body ratio enhances immersion while the 16:10 aspect ratio offers 11% more vertical space, making it easier to multitask, scroll less, and edit content with greater efficiency.

    Tailored for Every Need

The ASUS Gaming V16 is built for those who demand more power. It features an Intel Core 5 Processor 210H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU, faster DDR5 memory, a larger 63Wh battery, and a 1080p FHD webcam, making it ideal for heavy multitaskers and content creators who rely on smooth video conferencing and prolonged performance.

In contrast, the ASUS Gaming K16 offers a more budget-friendly and lightweight configuration. It comes with an Intel Core i5-13420H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU, providing solid everyday performance for gaming and creative work while prioritising portability and value.

Both models share the same vibrant 16-inch FHD+ 144Hz display, ensuring consistency in visuals, gaming quality, and connectivity features.

    Durability and Extras

The ASUS Gaming series is built to MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability standards, ensuring robust reliability for daily wear and travel. To further enhance user experience, each laptop includes three months of PC Game Pass for access to hundreds of games, as well as Office Home 2024, supporting productivity right out of the box.

    Availability & Pricing

    • ASUS Gaming V16 (V3607) is priced at RM3,999 and will be available starting 25 April 2025 at all authorized ASUS retailers in Malaysia.
    • ASUS Gaming K16 (K3605) is priced at RM3,499 and will also be available starting 25 April 2025 nationwide.

With high performance, a sleek form factor, and versatile features, the new ASUS Gaming series makes powerful gaming and creative productivity more accessible and mobile than ever before.
