ASUS ROG Xbox Ally series gaming handheld now available for preorder in Malaysia

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia has officially announced that the all-new ROG Xbox Ally X and ROG Xbox Ally are now open for pre-order in Malaysia.

Developed in collaboration with Xbox, the new handheld consoles mark a major step forward for portable Windows gaming, offering serious next-generation performance, better battery life, and refined ergonomics that blend console comfort with PC power.

The ROG Xbox Ally X is powered by the cutting-edge AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, while the standard ROG Xbox Ally comes equipped with the efficient Ryzen Z2 A processor, both delivering significant gen-on-gen improvements over last year’s ROG Ally. With AMD’s latest architecture and Radeon’s enhanced software suite — including FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR), Radeon Super Resolution (RSR) and Fluid Motion Frames (AFMF) — gamers can expect up to 60% smoother frame rates, improved visual clarity, and much longer playtime per charge.

Built for power and comfort, both ROG Xbox Ally models take cues from the Xbox Wireless Controller’s ergonomic design, complete with impulse triggers, HD haptics, and precise dual analog sticks. The 7-inch 1080p IPS display with 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness, and AMD FreeSync Premium ensures fluid motion and vivid visuals. Each screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with DXC anti-reflection coating, making it resilient against scratches and glare during outdoor play.

The ROG Xbox Ally X packs 24GB LPDDR5X RAM, a 1TB SSD, and an 80Wh battery, weighing 715g. The standard Ally offers 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and a 60Wh battery in a lighter 670g body. Both models run on Windows 11 Home, giving users access to their entire gaming library across Steam, Xbox, Epic Games Store, and other PC platforms.

Pre-orders begin exclusively on the ASUS e-Store at launch, expanding to authorised ASUS resellers from 6 to 15 October 2025. Buyers who pre-order within this period will receive a special bundle worth RM999, which includes a ROG SLASH Sling Bag 4.0, a screen protector, a 512GB microSD card, and a 2-year Perfect Warranty with accidental damage protection. There’s also a 20% purchase-with-purchase (PWP) discount on the ROG Bulwark Dock DG300 and ROG 65W Gaming Charger Dock for those looking to complete their portable setup.

The ROG Xbox Ally X is priced at RM4,299, while the ROG Xbox Ally retails for RM2,699. Both will hit Malaysian shelves starting 17 October 2025 through all authorised ASUS ROG partners.

Official accessories are also available, including the ROG Bulwark Dock DG300 (RM699), ROG 100W Charger Dock (RM499), ROG SLASH Sling Bag 4.0 (RM359), ROG 65W Charger Dock (RM299), and the ROG Xbox Ally Premium Case (RM249).
