CelcomDigi app launches in replacement of MyDigi and Celcom Life app

CelcomDigi Berhad has officially unveiled the new CelcomDigi app, a unified digital platform that merges the best of the company’s previous Celcom Life and MyDigi apps into a single, secure, and AI-powered experience. Developed entirely in-house, the app represents a key milestone in CelcomDigi’s post-merger integration, symbolising the company’s transformation into a truly unified brand focused on delivering smarter, more seamless digital engagement for all Malaysians.

According to Albern Murty, Acting Chief Executive Officer of CelcomDigi, the new app embodies the company’s “customer-obsessed” philosophy. “This launch represents our commitment to putting customers at the centre of every interaction,” said Albern. “The new CelcomDigi app combines the best of both existing platforms, enhanced with new features, and layered with AI technology for support and security. It puts everything you need in the palm of your hand — giving you full control over your digital lifestyle, services, and connectivity.”

The new app is built on extensive user feedback, incorporating insights from over 10 million customers and more than 100,000 beta testers. Designed to elevate convenience, security, and engagement, the app revolves around three key experience pillars — Everyday Convenience, Digital Lifestyle, Built-in, and Creating Delightful Moments.

Under Everyday Convenience, users can manage multiple lines and services under one account through the “Everything in One” feature, while Auto-Reload Magic keeps prepaid lines active automatically to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.

The Digital Lifestyle, Built-in theme enhances the experience beyond calls and data, integrating entertainment and lifestyle services directly into the app. Subscribers can manage streaming subscriptions like Disney+ and Viu, plan international travel with Roaming pre-booking that connects instantly upon arrival, and stay secure with biometric sign-in, one-device protection, and eKYC verification.

Meanwhile, Creating Delightful Moments introduces a layer of gamification and rewards. The AI-RA virtual assistant provides always-on support, while Daily Streak encourages users to log in daily to unlock new rewards. The 3-2-1 Surprise campaign gives away free gifts every Wednesday, and the For You feature personalises deals and offers based on real-time user behaviour — ensuring that every interaction feels more relevant and rewarding.

In response to rising digital scams, CelcomDigi has also built a Safety hub directly into the app. The feature offers practical cybersecurity tools, scam awareness resources, and one-tap reporting for fraudulent activity. Customers can also subscribe to MobileSHIELD, an affordable anti-scam and privacy protection service starting at RM4 per month. This complements CelcomDigi’s growing suite of security solutions, which includes WebSHIELD, Private SIM, and eSIM support.

To celebrate the launch, CelcomDigi is offering exclusive rewards for early users:

    • 100GB for RM1 — a one-time high-speed data pass (limited to 1 million redemptions)
    • Discounted streaming subscriptions, including Disney+ (Basic) at RM12.90/month, Disney+ (Premium) at RM27.90/month, and Viu at RM3.90/month
    • 12 months of free roaming and IDD calls, exclusive for postpaid customers

The company confirmed that the Celcom Life and MyDigi apps will be discontinued on 31 December 2025, with all users encouraged to migrate to the new platform. The CelcomDigi app is now available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, serving as the primary digital gateway for over 20 million customers on Malaysia’s widest and fastest network.
