COMPUTEX 2025: Acer introduces new Predator gaming monitors, Nitro series gets Google TV integration

Acer has unveiled a powerful new lineup of gaming and entertainment monitors, headlined by two advanced Predator QD-OLED gaming displays and a refreshed series of Acer Nitro smart monitors with Google TV. Designed to meet the needs of both hardcore gamers and multimedia enthusiasts, these new monitors offer cutting-edge performance, high refresh rates, vibrant color accuracy, and versatile features for a range of use cases.

At the top of the new Predator series is the Predator X27U F5, a 27-inch WQHD (2560×1440) QD-OLED display designed for esports professionals and competitive gamers. With an ultra-fast 500 Hz refresh rate, a 0.03 ms GTG response time, and VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 certification, the X27U F5 delivers incredibly smooth and vivid visuals. It also boasts Delta E<2 color accuracy and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, ensuring excellent color reproduction and deep contrast. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology is integrated to eliminate tearing and stuttering during high-speed gameplay.

Joining it is the Predator X27 X, a premium 4K UHD QD-OLED display that delivers immersive resolution at a 240 Hz refresh rate. Certified with VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 and featuring the same Delta E<2 color accuracy and 99% DCI-P3 support, this monitor offers ultra-smooth motion and lifelike colors perfect for fast-paced 4K gaming and creative tasks. Like its sibling, it features a 0.03 ms response time and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support.

Acer also expanded its Nitro Series with new smart monitors that integrate Google TV. The Acer Nitro GA321QK P features a 31.5-inch 4K UHD panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate and ultra-fast 0.05 ms response time, while the Nitro GA341CUR W0 offers a 34-inch ultra-wide QHD curved display with a high 240 Hz refresh rate. Both models deliver vivid visuals with 99% sRGB color gamut support, making them suitable for both gaming and entertainment.

Equipped with Google TV, these monitors provide access to over 400,000 movies, TV shows, and apps, all in one place. Built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Google Cast make it easy to stream content from smartphones, tablets, or laptops, transforming these displays into comprehensive entertainment hubs.

Rounding out the launch is the Acer Nitro PG271K, a portable 27-inch 4K monitor built for users who need a flexible, high-resolution display on the go. It offers a 72 Hz refresh rate at 4K and supports Dynamic Frequency and Resolution tech to reach Full HD at 144 Hz. Featuring IPS technology and wide 178° viewing angles, this ultra-thin monitor includes an adjustable kickstand and is VESA wall mount compatible, making it ideal for travel, dual-screen setups, or small workspaces.

    Pricing and Availability

    • Predator X27U F5 will be available in EMEA in Q3 2025, starting at EUR 899, and in China at RMB 5,999.
